York Minster Visit

associated with the Minster for some twenty years

Pedal for Polio

(an 150 mile three day adventure ride)
Start: 11 June 2010 - Stray, Harrogate
Day One:- Stump Cross, Burnsall Village, Cracoe, Malham Tarn with overnight at New Inn Clapham
Day Two:Deepdale (most difficult climb), Hawes, Askrigg, Leyburn
Day Three: Bedale, Snape, Ripon, Bishop Monkton, Knaresborough
Finish: 2pm 13 June 2010 - Stray, Harrogate

In the region of £1000 was raised for Polio Plus and £100 for Marie Curie Foundation

Well Done - all those who took part!!

Pateley Bridge/Nidderdale Walk - there appeared to be a lack of walkers wishing to be labourers for the day!

A time when a 'bus stop' can be used as a 'lunch stop'!!
Three intrepid walkers spent a very pleasant, warm and rain-free, two and a half hours or so, walking from Pool in Wharfedale, along the Wharfe with great views of the railway viaduct
